Holly at Amber Mace is excited to be working with an excellent established care provider who are recruiting for a Registered Care Manager to work with them to set up, build and manage a brand new homecare service in Gloucester and the surrounding areas. My client is looking for a dynamic, energetic and business minded Registered Manager who has a passion for care and the drive to succeed.
The role as Business Development Manager:
- Working alongside social workers, service users and their families, and other key members of the community
- Build and oversee a staff team
- Ensure the provision of appropriate levels of assistance at all times for all service users
- Develop the care business in the local community
- Ensure up-to-date and accurate records are kept on service users
- Ensure performance in the areas of hours growth, profitability, people-management and quality
- Writing successful tender and fundraising bid
The successful candidate will possess the following skills/qualifications:
- Knowledge of care and support service provision
- Person-centred approach to working
- Excellent communication and organisation skills
- Ideally have previous experience in setting up and successfully managing a homecare service
- Previous experience as a Registered Care Manager
- NVQ Level 5 in Health & Social Care or equivalent
