SalaryThis service provides residential care for young adults between the ages of 16+ who are either profoundly deaf, have significant hearing loss and/or complex needs and this service is based in Basildon, Essex.
You must also have experience dealing with LDA individuals, challenging & mental health behaviours in a similar environment and be a calming influence.
Our clients require round the clock care, so there are a variety of shifts are available which include days, nights and weekends.
- Be compassionate and professional
- An active member in the deaf community (preferable)
- Fluent in BSL
- Be dedicated and flexible
- Be a driver with access to your own vehicle (preferred)
- Have experience working in a similar role
