A fantastic opportunity has become available to join a brilliant and supportive Change Communications team, working on high-investment and high-impact strategic change programmes to support the achievement of the University’s strategic priorities and continued success.
We work flexibly across a number of programmes and projects to ensure a holistic approach, however, the role holder’s priority will be to lead the Communications and Engagement for a major transformation programme. The programmes involve a significant degree of behaviour and culture change across the organisation and the ideal candidate will bring a fresh, innovative approach to Communications and Engagement to make sure change lands well in a complex organisation.
An important aspect of the role is to build close professional relationships with stakeholders to ensure a proactive approach to strategic Communications and Engagement that delivers consistent and coordinated messaging. The role holder will work closely with the Director of People and Organisational Development to form engagement plans that bring the programme to life and showcase the benefits of the changes to our university community.
You will be an experienced people manager, providing leadership, direction and support for a small team, and ensuring you have the right level of resource in place as well as managing the work of the team effectively.
You should have the ability to lead the digital communications aspects of effective project promotion, engagement and buy in and be able to form and deliver exceptional Communications and Engagement plans with measurable outcomes.
