The post-holder will promote the Administrative Data Research Centre Northern Ireland (ADRC NI), and the work of its research teams, to a wide and diverse audience to deepen understanding of administrative data research, research outcomes, relevance and impact (via multiple channels including website, social media, newsletters and briefings). The ADRC NI, a partnership between Queen’s University Belfast and Ulster University, is part of a UK consortia which aims to facilitate access to linked administrative data for research for public benefit. The post-holder will support the Public Engagement, Communications and Impact (PECI) manager in (i) planning and delivery of events and Engagement activities with stakeholders, (ii) recording and reporting of outcomes and impact, (iii) promotion, outreach and communication, and (iv) coordination and delivery of a new All-Party Group and public data panel. The post-holder will be based at the Centre for Public Health.
About the person:
The successful candidate must have, and your application should clearly demonstrate that you meet the following criteria:
- A primary degree (or equivalent) or substantial relevant experience 2 years’ recent and relevant experience in similar or related role(s)
- Experience in:
- The use of a mixture of social media tools for marketing and communication purposes website design, content management and/or maintenance.
- Working with a range of stakeholders to effectively engage on complex topics producing effective communications in a range of mediums.
- Delivering activities within communication strategies.

Fixed term contract posts are available for the stated period in the first instance but in particular circumstances may be renewed or made permanent subject to availability of funding.
