Our Comms and Engagement (Spark EY) team in People Advisory Services help some of the world’s most recognisable organisations engage and connect with their people to make real change happen through impactful content and memorable experiences. We are a team of strategists, storytellers and creatives who deliver deliberately different communications, including:

  • Comprehensive communication and stakeholder engagement strategies for global technology transformations, mergers and acquisitions and organisational change
  • Aspirational organisational narratives to shift the dials on culture, business performance and employee experience
  • Immersive, thought-provoking, and memorable experiences that leave a lasting impression on participants
  • Compelling and clear communications that cut through the noise and truly spark action

Your key responsibilities

As a Manager you will be responsible for strategic communications and engagement delivery across a range of different change projects, including:

  • Working closely with clients to develop detailed communication strategies and stakeholder engagement plans
  • Providing strategic communications advice to our clients as part of multi-disciplinary EY client teams
  • Designing and delivering a range of creative communications and experiences that align with strategy and plan
  • Coordinating and aligning communications messages and communication rollouts across multiple channels
  • Managing teams to develop tactical communications deliverables
  • Coaching leaders and project teams on communications and engagement best practise
  • Preparing and facilitating client working sessions
  • Defining success criteria (KPIs) and developing a robust approach to measuring communication effectiveness
  • Using your experience to bring innovation and best practices to communications projects

 

About you 

  • Proven experience of leading strategic communications on complex projects, for example on large-scale transformations or mergers/acquisitions
  • Experience of stakeholder management, with the ability to collate and present key messages to all levels of the organisation 
  • Ability to develop creative and engaging materials that bring business messages to life in new and different ways
  • Ability to lead, inspire, challenge and influence to move toward a common vision or goal
  • Ability to establish and maintain strong working relationships with clients and project colleagues
  • Creative flair and on the look-out for new, innovative communications and engagement approaches
  • Strong presentation skills, as well as written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in managing and coaching team members and help increase the team’s skill levels and abilities
  • Flexible, adaptable, and resilient; able to work and lead teams in ambiguous and challenging situations
  • Highly organised with a great eye for detail
