We are looking for a self-motivated, creative individual with strong copywriting skills to undertake the role of Communications Executive (Housing). This role will support Southampton City Council’s Housing Department in delivering messages to residents, leaseholders and tenants.
Reporting to a Senior Communications Officer, you will be responsible for implementing communications and engagement plans for a variety of projects. You will use a range of communications channels, from digital to traditional PR.
This role will suit someone with strong copywriting skills, writing for different audiences, creating content for different social media channels, and experience of working with the media. Filming and editing experience is desirable, and the successful candidate should have a willingness to learn.
This is an excellent opportunity for a driven individual looking to develop their skills in communications and make their mark in a newly created role, helping to positively raise the profile of Southampton City Council’s Housing Service.
