As a Communications Executive, you will play a pivotal role in developing and executing our internal and external communication strategies. This role demands creativity, strategic thinking and the ability to work across various platforms to engage audiences and support our brand's growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement communication strategies that align with our company’s objectives.
- Write, edit and distribute content, including website content, printed materials, publications, press releases and other marketing collateral that communicates the organisation's activities, products and services.
- Manage the company's social media profiles and presence, including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok and additional channels that may be deemed relevant.
- Monitor, analyse and communicate PR results.
- Build relationships with thought leaders to grow industry awareness.
- Maintain a keen understanding of industry trends affecting clients and make appropriate recommendations regarding communication strategy surrounding them.
- Coordinate with Marketing teams to ensure brand consistency.
- Facilitate internal communication strategies, enhancing transparency and information sharing across the organisation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Communications Executive or similar role.
- Excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
- Adept at creating strategies that grow brand awareness, engagement, and conversion.
- Experience managing media relations (online, broadcast and print).
- Background in project management and execution of PR campaigns and/or initiatives.
- Comfortable using social media, content management systems and email marketing platforms.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong understanding of the latest trends in digital communication and strategy.
