Guts UK Charity is reaching more people than ever before. We have built an astoundingly engaged audience, and a busy, impactful communications calendar. We're looking for someone with strong leadership skills, a keen eye for trends, with plenty of creativity and curiosity to join us as Communications Manager. Your passion for all things digital will be a key foundation block to our charity's success, helping the UK get to grips with guts.

Job summary:
· Line-manage and inspire the high-energy and high-performing Communications Team at Guts UK: the Communications Officer and Social Media Officer.
· Manage and oversee all communications and marketing activities across Guts UK’s communication channels, digitally and in print.
· Develop and deliver on communications strategies aligning with the delivery of Guts UK’s new organisational strategy.
· Monitor and analyse Guts UK’s communications performance, measuring success, suggesting amendments and informing the development of new content.
· With the Communications Officer and Social Media Officer, develop new and engaging content for Guts UK across social media, our website, e-mail newsletters, printed magazines and more.
· Deliver our awareness and fundraising campaigns throughout the year.
· Watch, listen to and learn from our community.
· Lead the press function at Guts UK, and respond to press enquiries, monitor coverage and highlight opportunities.
· Directly contribute, as a team member, to the wider work and future growth of Guts UK as a charity.
Experience
Demonstrate hands-on experience in:
· A communications, marketing or digital role (ideally within the charity sector). A focus on digital (web), press and social media is particularly desirable.
· Line-managing and inspiring an individual or team.
