The Internal Communications Manager is a new role, and will play a critical role in fostering effective communication within Leeds Bradford Airport. This position is responsible for developing and implementing internal communication strategies to engage employees, enhance organisational culture, and ensure that key messages are effectively disseminated throughout the airport community. The Internal Communications Manager will collaborate with various departments to ensure effective flow of information throughout the organisation.

The role sits within our fantastic HR department, operating across the whole airport. The main aspects of the role are: -
Internal Communication Strategy:
Identify key messages and create engaging content to be shared across various internal communication channels.
Content Creation and Management:
Ensure consistency in messaging and branding across all internal communication channels.
Employee Engagement:
Organise and manage internal events, workshops, and employee forums to encourage open communication and feedback.
Change Communication:
Communication Tools and Platforms:
Stay updated on emerging communication technologies and recommend improvements to enhance internal communication effectiveness.
Feedback and Measurement:
Implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and impact of internal communication initiatives.
Collaboration and Liaison:
Work closely with various departments, including front operations, human resources, and executive leadership, to understand communication needs and align strategies with organizational goals.
What we are looking for:
The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated track record in Internal Communications, ideally within a complex organisational setting such as an airport or large corporation. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are a must, along with strong project management abilities to handle multiple priorities and deadlines effectively. Familiarity with communication tools and technologies is expected, and the ability to collaborate and build positive relationships across all levels of the organisation is essential. A Bachelor���s degree in communications, public relations, or a related field is desirable. Additionally, an understanding of aviation industry dynamics and regulatory environments would be advantageous.
