Overview of role
St Clare Hospice is a special place to work, and we are looking for a special person to join our marketing and communications team to support the fantastic work our Income Generation team undertakes. This is an exciting time to be joining the St Clare Hospice as we expand both teams. This new role will focus exclusively on supporting the Income Generation arm of the hospice, making a significant contribution to our work in West Essex and so supporting local people to live as well as possible, in the time they have left.
This won’t be the first time you have used your communications skills professionally and you will understand the importance of audience segmentation, targeting and the supporter journey. You will be comfortable and experienced in leading measurable, multi-channel campaigns that have been successful in increasing engagement with existing supporters and bringing new supporters to the hospice, leading to increased income so we can cover the cost of our inspiring clinical and medical teams.
The role will be proactive in leading on the marketing and promotion of:
- Retail & e-commerce
- The weekly St Clare lottery
- All fundraising activity including the St Clare flagship annual events, individual giving, legacies, challenges, community, and corporate fundraising, as well as cross-hospice fundraising campaigns.
Please read the job description (link below) for further details.
In return for your commitment, we offer a competitive salary and benefits package including a new Health Cash Plan, generous leave allowance, pension and life assurance scheme, Employee Assistance Programme, free parking, subsidised lunches, and the option to continue your membership of the NHS pension scheme. We offer excellent development opportunities and are committed to supporting individuals in their learning and development.
