Communications and Impact Manager
Make a difference with Action for Family Carers! We're looking for a passionate and skilled Communications and Impact Manager to lead our marketing and communications. You will join our charity at a critical time as we significantly expand our services to unpaid family carers. In this new role, you'll will lead and shape our communication strategies and be a key player in conveying our mission, engaging with supporters, and showcasing the impact of our services.
Salary: £29,361 FTE, £17,617 actual
Hours of work: 21 hours - Flexible days/hours, hybrid office/home working
Contract: 3-year contract (with potential for 2 year extension subject to funding)
Office: Brickhouse Farm, Poulton Close, Maldon, Essex, CM9 6NG
Reports to: Head of Business Development & Partnerships

About Us:
Action for Family Carers is a well-established Essex-based charity dedicated to supporting unpaid carers and young carers. We've been making a positive impact for over 30 years.
About You:
You have at least 18 months experience in a similar communications role and be well versed in creating and managing website and social media content and email campaigns. You are equally well-versed in analysing and interpreting quantitative and qualitative data and extracting relevant insights to create compelling communications. You value a supportive workplace, seeking job satisfaction and a chance to make a real difference. Motivated and driven, you're comfortable working solo or as part of a team. You're adaptable under pressure, are an excellent planner and multi-tasker and possess exceptional communication skills with demonstrable and practical experience of writing compelling content.
