The salary advertised is our anticipated salary from 1st April but is subject to final confirmation following the Trust’s annual pay review process.

You'll be a core member of the small but friendly Experiences and Visitor Experiences team who are passionate about bringing to life engaging stories from across the property and delivering high-quality programming to a wide range of local, national, and international audiences. You’ll find staff and volunteers across the portfolio warm and welcoming, and the team especially works flexibly across our sites as well as occasionally from home.
This role will suit you if you relish working with diverse content, people from all walks of life, and in a fast-moving environment set amongst beautiful buildings and gardens. What you'll be doing We have an annual plan covering communications and marketing, and your role from will be to achieve what’s on that plan. We have some ambitious targets that you’ll be aiming at, including reaching new and diverse audiences, so there’s room for creativity and fresh ideas.
Your day-to-day work will cover things like creating new content on our web pages, and making sure that existing information remains relevant and accurate, running social media accounts, creating promotional materials and writing and distributing press releases.
You'll be working closely with your colleagues on site and the Trusts regional advisers, known as consultants. You'll be part of a team making sure that we're sharing the best stories we can, with a focus on spreading the word about places to visit and letting people know about the Trust’s conservation work.

- familiar and confident with various marketing techniques, including digital and social media
- experienced in writing and speaking clearly
- someone who puts people first, and understands why great customer service matters
- skilled in working with IT (including Microsoft Office)
- good at solving problems, and able to work on your own initiative
