We have an exciting opportunity for a Communications Officer to join our team to support the Executive Director of People and Programmes in delivering and implementing our communications strategy.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Coordinating and helping to deliver our external and internal communication, including social media, content creation, and engagement

• Working alongside the Executive team to support our campaigns for internal and external audiences

• Website and intranet management

• Working with the media

• Helping us manage our brand

• Line-management responsibility for a Digital Marketing Apprentice, ensuring adequate coaching and support

Please note: an Enhanced disclosure and barring service check is a requirement for this role. This would be completed on appointment of the role.

What we are looking for:

• Experience of using design software such as Photoshop/Canva to create graphics, leaflets, videos and gifs

• Experience of using social media management platforms, i.e Hootsuite and Meta Business Suite

• Experience of Google Analytics and the ability to measure and adapt UX

• Experience with email marketing platforms (MailChimp ideally) and creation and distribution of newsletters and emails

• Experience with WordPress (website) and SharePoint (intranet)

• Experience of communications, public relations and marketing

• Ability to interpret communications and marketing data into actionable insights

• Competent in the use of Microsoft office products

• Experience of creating communications plans and strategy
