We have an exciting opportunity for a Communications Officer to join our team to support the Executive Director of People and Programmes in delivering and implementing our communications strategy.
Your main responsibilities will include:
Coordinating and helping to deliver our external and internal communication, including social media, content creation, and engagement
Working alongside the Executive team to support our campaigns for internal and external audiences
Website and intranet management
Working with the media
Helping us manage our brand
Line-management responsibility for a Digital Marketing Apprentice, ensuring adequate coaching and support
Please note: an Enhanced disclosure and barring service check is a requirement for this role. This would be completed on appointment of the role.
What we are looking for:
Experience of using design software such as Photoshop/Canva to create graphics, leaflets, videos and gifs
Experience of using social media management platforms, i.e Hootsuite and Meta Business Suite
Experience of Google Analytics and the ability to measure and adapt UX
Experience with email marketing platforms (MailChimp ideally) and creation and distribution of newsletters and emails
Experience with WordPress (website) and SharePoint (intranet)
Experience of communications, public relations and marketing
Ability to interpret communications and marketing data into actionable insights
Competent in the use of Microsoft office products
Experience of creating communications plans and strategy
