About the Role
Our Communications and Engagement Officer will amplify all of the great things the Foundation does. They will be responsible for the use of social media, marketing material, public relations and other communications platforms to help deliver our mission of inspiring and motivating young people to become achievers and valued members of society.
You will need to champion young people, ensure that we are amplifying young people’s voices and provide them with the tools, resources, contacts and services that enable them to achieve great things.
This is an exciting role for someone who is well organised and is proactive, who is creative and has the ambition to develop and deliver fun, engaging and effective communications.
About You

We are seeking an efficient, highly organised team member with excellent project-management and communication skills. You should have a passion for our work with young people. You will have strong digital skills and be able to use your creativity to improve our social media performance. You will have a track record of managing social media channels, collaborating with other departments to create tailored content for a specific audience.
You will also have experience of content curation for newsletters and websites, including a knowledge of SEO and website management. An understanding of media relations and writing press releases is desirable.
You will need to be able to manage your own workload within agreed targets and be comfortable juggling multiple areas of work. You will possess an eye for detail, good problem-solving skills, excellent creativity and the ability to communicate confidently and present a positive external profile for the charity.
