The Community Partnership Manager (CPM) will be responsible for the development and delivery of one of Toynbee Hall’s main service delivery initiatives: the Linkage Plus partnership.
This role is key in terms of ensuring that the programme is delivered to meet the needs of older people in the community, to build and hold Toynbee Hall’s vital relationships with organisations and stakeholders in the community, and to bolster the overall work of the Community Centre and the Communities and Social Change department.
Toynbee Hall works closely with local residents to design programmes that meet their needs and interests and this approach will be central to the work
Flexible, hours spread over 3-5 days per week during business hours
Day to day tasks include:
1. Linkage programme development and delivery: Collaborate with local residents to design and implement a range of community activities and programs that address the needs and interests of the community and source new partnerships to deliver the programmes.
2. Community Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with local residents, community organizations, and stakeholders to ensure that the centre remains responsive to the evolving needs of the community.
3. Collaborative Partnerships: Establish and nurture collaborative partnerships with the Linkage partner organisations and other local charities and organisations focused on supporting individuals in accessing their local communities. Develop and maintain strong relationships to ensure a coordinated approach to tackling isolation among isolated community members.
4. Advocacy: Support advocacy for policies and initiatives that address the underlying causes of poverty and support the well-being of the community members you serve.
5. Evaluation and Reporting: Regularly assess the effectiveness of the Linkage programme and activities through data collection and evaluation and provide comprehensive reports to the charity's leadership.
6. Needs Assessment: Conduct thorough needs assessments to identify the specific challenges and barriers faced by at risk individuals in accessing local communities. Use this information to inform the development of targeted programs and initiatives.
7. Outreach and Inclusivity: Implement outreach strategies to engage community members who may be experiencing isolation or limited access to resources.
