We wish to recruit a band 5 Staff Nurse to join our integrated Locality Teams in Gateshead.
You will work for a forward thinking Trust, in a dynamic and transformational business unit, committed to working within a cycle of continuous improvement, with the patient at the Centre of all you do. The locality teams are multi professional working in collaboration to ensure safe, highly effective patient care.
This post will provide an exciting opportunity to work differently within an new initiative to deliver a high quality service to patients in Gateshead.
You will need to be motivated, organised and flexible. The service core hours are 8am - 4:30pm but we do cover the service 8am – 8pm, 7 days per week. You will be expected to work flexibly to deliver service needs.
You must be a registered nurse and evidence of a teaching certificate, post registration experience and ongoing professional development are desirable.
It would also be desirable to have evidence of experience in a community setting.
You must be a car owner/driver.

To be responsible for delivery of an identified package of care under the supervision and direction of Specialist Nurse Practitioner/Senior Nurse/Locality Team Lead.
