I am a friendly elderly gentleman with dementia who lives on the outskirts of Selkirk with my

wife. I’m looking for a reliable Companion/PA to look after my wellbeing and keep me safe

while out and about in the community. Also willing to do some light housework enabling my

wife some much-needed respite.

Main tasks and responsibilities

• Prompt with washing/showering/dressing

• Prompt with medication

• Prompt with toileting

• Encourage food and fluid intake

• Escort and support me while out and about in the community

• Light housework

Personal attributes

• Practical and a good communicator

• Trustworthy and reliable

• Driver with Business Insurance

Hours of work 9 hours per week

• Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday 10.00am till 1.00pm

The terms

• £15.00 per hour

• Mileage 40p per mile social only

• Social expenses paid

• 5.6 weeks annual leave on a pro rata basis

• PVG/References required
