PERSONAL ASSISTANT/COMPANION
I am a gentleman living at home with my wife in Selkirk. I have Motor Neuron Disease and as
such now require some assistance with my day-to-day routine. I am looking for a personal
Assistant/Companion for a block of 5 hours per week to allow my wife some much-needed
respite.
Main tasks and responsibilities
- Keep me company while my wife is out.
- Keep me safe and look after my wellbeing.
- If needed assist me with toileting – I have a track hoist in my home.
- Make sure I have fluids/food to hand.
Personal attributes
- Kind with a genuine caring nature.
- Chatty and outgoing.
- Ideally moving and handling experience, or willingness to learn.
- Someone who is trustworthy, confidential, and reliable.
Hours of work (Flexible)
- A block of 5 hours per week, days/times to suit both parties.
The terms
- £12.00 per hour.
- 5.6 weeks annual leave calculated on a pro-rata basis.
