Support Worker/Personal Assistant – Duns
An elderly gentleman, living at home in Duns, is looking for a cheerful, patient and friendly support worker to join his small team. The role is to provide personal care for his morning and evening routines as well as provide meals and medication support. This post is looking to start on the 9th of March but applications from those not available till a later date would still be considered.
Terms:
- H
- ours per week: up to 11 hours H
- ours of work: Daily morning visits of 1 hour around 9-11am and evening visits of an hour on a Thursday through to Sunday around 7-8pm. Times may be slightly flexible. £
- 15 per hour. M
- ileage allowance could be considered. P
- aid annual leave entitlement of 5.6 weeks pro rata. P
- robationary period of 3 months P
- ost subject to successful reference checks and PVG.

- o support a client to ensure their safety and well-being. T
- o support with personal care needs including washing, shower support and dressing assistance. T
- o support with general care needs such as meal preparation and medication support. T
- o maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the client’s equipment and surroundings T
- o develop a positive relationship with the client and his family.
