This is a fantastic opportunity to join an owner-managed business based in Wakefield which is expanding.
Reporting to the MD you will be responsible for an all-encompassing hands-on role taking on full responsibility for the entire finance function.
Your responsibilities will include;
- Preparation and reporting of monthly management accounts
- Assist in the preparation of statutory accounts and liaise with the external accountants
- Cash flow forecasting and forecasting
- Manage the month-end process
- VAT returns
- Maintain all ledgers
- Credit control when required
- Balance sheet reconciliations
Skills and Experience;
You’ll be qualified by experience or part/fully qualified CIMA/ACCA and have recent UK experience of working within a SME environment performing a similar role.
Knowledge of Sage is desirable as is experience of an ERP system
You’ll be a strong communicator with commercial acumen and enjoy working as part of a team.
