Job description

Manpower UK Print & Packaging Division are currently working on behalf of one of our prestigious partners, a market leading Labels and Flexible packaging company who, having seen consistent growth, and are heavily investing across their business. They are therefore eager to enrich their existing longstanding team with an additional Quality Assurance Technician.


The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and accuracy of our labels and print products. You will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections, performing tests, and maintaining quality control processes throughout the production cycle. This position requires a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.


Daily duties will include:

  • Conduct routine inspections of labels and print products at various stages of the production process to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
  • Perform visual inspections to detect defects, imperfections, or deviations from quality standards, such as colour accuracy, print clarity, and alignment.
  • Document inspection results, test findings, and quality issues accurately and thoroughly in written reports or electronic databases.
  • Collaborate with production teams to identify and address root causes of quality issues, implement corrective actions, and prevent recurrence of defects.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures, protocols, and work instructions to optimize efficiency and minimise errors.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors, operators, and other team members to ensure alignment on quality objectives, priorities, and expectations.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, quality audits, and training programs to enhance your skills and contribute to the overall success of the Quality Assurance department.
