Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts
- Overseeing the operational finance team
- Support with statutory accounts and audit
- Budgeting, forecasting and cashflow management
- Preparation and submission of VAT returns and CIS returns
- Provide financial analysis and modelling
- Internal and external stakeholder management
- Implement, develop and maintain internal processes, controls and systems.
- Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
- Experience in a similar Management Accountant role in the construction sector
- Experience managing/supervising a finance team.
- Proficiency in accounting software (ideally COINS) and good Excel skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Strong stakeholder management skills
