Company Accountant

Company Accountant - responsible for providing financial insights, analysis, and support to senior management. This role involves preparing financial reports, budgets, and forecasts, as well as monitoring and analysing financial performance to drive company decision-making. This is a Part time role 3 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Assist in the development and monitoring of budgets and forecasts.
• Preparation of financial statements
• Monitor and analyse key performance indicators to track financial performance.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements.
• Assist in the implementation of financial systems and processes.

Qualifications:

• Experienced Accountant with good commercial awareness and understanding of business dynamics.
• Ability to work efficiently and prioritise your workloads in a fast-paced environment, delivering a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to identify areas of improvement within processes and procedures and identify continuous improvements for your team.
• A self-starter who can work on their own initiative with minimal supervision
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial software systems.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Relevant accounting qualifications (e.g., ACCA, CIMA) are desirable

Salary to £30k with flexibility regarding working hours.
