Company Accountant / Full time permanent / Newtownabbey

Reed Accountancy & Finance are delighted to be working with a successful business in Newtownabbey and are actively recruiting for a Company Accountant.

This is a full time permanent opportunity, office based although offers an element of flexibility as required.

Hours of work are 9am to 5pm or 8.30am to 4.30pm.

Reporting to the Managing Director, the Company Accountant will be responsible for the day to day management of the finance function and administration office.

Specific duties will involve:

Prepare & upload monthly & quarterly management accounts for head office to scheduled timelines
Prepare year end accounts and working papers/reconciliations for audit purposes
Produce monthly cashflow report
File quarterly VAT returns
File monthly CIS returns
Day to day bank/cash management including processing of payments
Process monthly multi-currency bank reconciliations
Process weekly/monthly salaries, remit PAYE/NIC & process payroll year end
Complete TSS supplementary declarations
Manage and maintain the company Integrated Management System
Liaise with in-house sales, service and stores team to ensure invoicing is carried out in an accurate & timely manner

The Person:

Enthusiastic and up for an exciting and rewarding challenge
Qualified accountant or Qualified by Experience Accountant
Experience in managing a small team of staff
Proficient in MS Excel
Experience of Sage 200 / Sage Payroll desirable
