Daily Operations
- Complete shop opening and closing tasks according to process and procedure
- Provide excellent customer service, with a helpful and professional manner
- Operate POS system proficiently, including all functionalities such as, but not limited to, transactions, reporting, system updates and stock alterations as required
- Organise shop to maximise space management
- Complete all stock takes, stock ordering, stock management and stock rotation.
- Ensure adequate stock levels are maintained and escalate any availability issues
- Ensure all deadlines for administration tasks are met, with work completed to proficient standard
- Ensure shop is maintained in a tidy, safe and presentable manner
- Report any maintenance issues which require attention for the shop or electronic systems
- Ensure to follow all process, procedures, SSOW and Risk Assessments for your area
- Ensure to engage with and employ all RB Site HSE policies and procedures
- Escalate issues to management as appropriate
Job Purpose
- To complete day to day operational tasks for a small Company Shop, ensuring all process and procedures are followed correctly. This includes opening and closing responsibilities
- To provide friendly and helpful front facing customer service provision to all shop attendees.
- Operate POS systems for transactions and reporting
- To complete all stock takes and ordering for the shop, ensuring appropriate stock management, availability and rotation.
- To ensure the shop is maintained in a clean, tidy and presentable state
- To ensure all health and safety process and control measures are implemented as per instruction
- To maximise sales performance of the shop
- To take full ownership of the responsibilities that have been given within your job role.
