The role:

Rate of pay: Our hourly rate for this position is £12.75 per hour.

Shift times: This position would include days, waking nights and alternate weekends. The day shift times are 7am – 7pm. The night shift times are 7pm – 7am

Location: This position is located in S63, Wath-Upon-Dearne.

This is a full time position, working 36 hours per week. This would include 3, 12 hour shifts each week.

The company is unable to sponsor the employment of international workers in this role. You will be required to provide evidence of your right to work in the UK.

About the role:

• In this position, your primary responsibility will involve providing support for a gentleman with a spinal cord injury.
• Supporting with none-verbal communication.
• He requires ventilation for 12 hours at night. He depends on assistance with cough assist and bowel care, moving and handling will also be part of his daily routine.

We are seeking highly motivated professionals with a caring demeanour, excellent communication skills, and previous care experience, with knowledge of Complex Care being an added advantage. A positive attitude and friendly nature are essential attributes for this role, as you will be providing meaningful support and encouragement to enhance our client's quality of life.

To be considered for this position, you will need:

• Flexible availability.
• To be able to work days, waking nights and alternate weekends
• A current DBS if possible (Paper or Update Service)
• A driving license.

The service user:

Our service user is an older gentleman who has recently returned home after 11 months in hospital and is really looking forward to meeting his new Support Workers.
