COMPLIANCE ADMINISTRATOR - ROLE PROFILE
Due to growth in our organisation Step by Step has an exciting opportunity for a Compliance Administrator to join our charity.

The Compliance Administrator will provide administrative support to the Charity to ensure SBS (Step by Step) is compliant with the necessary regulatory bodies.

Each year we work with over 1,300 young people aged and our team play a pivotal role in empowering young people and preventing homelessness.
The Step by Step team is positive, dynamic, professional, and committed to empowering young people to fulfil their full potential. Step by Step was incorporated in 1989, so have a long history of working and supporting young people.
What Step by Step can offer you?
- Working hours % of full-time equivalent (FTE) per week
- GBP13,000 to GBP24,000 per annum depending on experience and number of hours worked FTE (FTE is GBP26,000 - GBP30000).

So where is the role based and what about flexible working?
The role is based in Aldershot town centre. Step by Step has a flexible hybrid working environment meaning that some days can be worked from home. Step by Step would be happy to work with the successful candidate to devise a working pattern that works for SBS and you.
What would you be doing?
- Assist with gathering information internally in response to requests by Ofsted or other bodies.
- Set up administrative processes to support Step by Step s compliance with necessary bodies, including Ofsted.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with the compliance requirements and GDPR (General Data Protection Regulations).
- Stay informed and up to date about compliance from a wide range of sources.
- Liaise with Registered Service Managers concerning compliance matters and support them with their compliance administration.
- Perform data audits to support improvements.
- Administration of the relevant charity's policies and procedures to ensure compliance.
- Put together statistics and reports for the organisation.
- Identify compliance irregularities and support the resolution ensuring the right people know.
- Carrying out general administrative tasks and any other reasonable request.
- Willingness to assist in all other areas of the organisation.
