Compliance Administrator (Helpdesk)

The firm is seeking a diligent Compliance Helpdesk Administrator to become an integral part of the compliance team, providing essential support and guidance on legal and regulatory matters.

This pivotal role offers the chance to work closely with the Legal Risk & Compliance Manager, ensuring the firm and its individuals adhere to stringent legal practices.
Key responsibilities for this role include being the initial contact for internal risk and compliance queries, offering legal compliance guidance to firm employees, and managing a variety of compliance-related issues. These range from Money Laundering Regulation and UK GDPR to SRA standards, client due diligence, and suspicious activity reporting. The role extends to maintaining compliance registers, assisting with audits, and supporting the culture of compliance within the firm.
The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a cohesive team. High standards and excellent IT skills are prerequisites. A degree-level education is required, with preference given to those holding or pursuing a relevant industry qualification and possessing at least one year of compliance experience within the legal sector. Knowledge of Money Laundering Legislation and SRA regulations is highly desirable, alongside outstanding communication skills.
