Our PE backed client, the largest in the UK with an aggressive growth-strategy are seeking multiple Service Desk Analyst/Engineer to build out an internal Service Desk capability.
As the Service Desk Analyst/Engineer, you will part of the wider IT Team which manages an infrastructure that is primarily based on Microsoft Azure, Office and Dynamics 365, with a hardware stack based around the Lenovo ThinkPad range - As the Service Desk Analyst/Engineer, you will help manage this infrastructure whilst supporting the internal users.
Key accountabilities as the Service Desk Analyst/Engineer but not limited to:
- Triaging and responding to helpdesk queries as part of an ITIL L1 service management model
- Managing the hardware stock and managing purchasing in collaboration with the Operations Manager.
- Assisting with license management
- Liaising with users to resolve requests in line with given SLAs
- Staying up-to-date on the latest technologies within the tech stack
- Monitoring usage, capacity and security
- Suggesting improvements with a view to enhance the experience of the users
Essential qualifications, experience and skills required as the Service Desk Analyst/Engineer:
Most important:
- Office 365 - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Teams
- MS Exchange
- Group Management on O365 Admin
- Comfortable with general IT Lenovo support
- Managing user permissions on Azure
Important:
- Awareness of software delivery lifecycle (ITIL ITSM)
- Jira / Confluence
- Awareness of structured data management and SQL
