Our client is a consumer credit business committed to responsible lending and outstanding service.

They are currently seeking a skilled Compliance and Operations Director to join their dynamic team.

The Role:

As the Compliance and Operations Director, you will be integral to ensuring business operations align with legal standards and internal policies. Your role will focus on managing and improving operational systems, processes, and best practices that guarantee organisational well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage compliance with FCA regulations and other legal requirements.
• Develop, implement, and monitor effective operational strategies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with consumer credit laws and other financial regulations.
• Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure adherence to compliance standards.
• Lead the operations team to achieve excellence in customer service and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with other departments to streamline operations and enhance compliance.
• Stay updated with changes in legislation and regulatory landscape affecting consumer credit.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a similar role within the consumer credit industry.
• Extensive knowledge of FCA regulations and consumer credit laws in the UK.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Law, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Relevant professional certifications would be an advantage.
