Salary As we continue our exciting growth plans at 2plan, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Compliance Director to join the Executive team. The accountable Executive (SMF 4, 16 and 17) for leading the 2nd line of defence Risk and Compliance function, you will set the Risk and Compliance strategy, advise the Executive and Board on the business’ adherence to regulatory obligations, and provide assurance of 1st line adherence across the enterprise-wide Risk Framework.
This is a hybrid role with a base in Leeds and some travel to London and Swindon.

- Provide regulatory, Risk Management and Financial Crime expertise to the business in setting policy and adequate control frameworks.
- Work with Group resources (as defined and agreed) for provision of 2nd line services to 2plan
- Manage the Regulatory relationship for 2plan and into Openwork as required for an effective and constructive relationship.
- Deliver an appropriate version of the Openwork Risk Framework and practices into 2plan.
- Design and deliver an annual assurance and monitoring plan across the key risks and regulatory exposures.
- Provide independent oversight and 2nd line opinions (where appropriate) to all material business decisions and change initiatives.
- Advising on regulatory policy, performance and development with reference to the 2plan Wealth Management proposition
- Act as a member of the Openwork Group 2nd line of defence management team, contributing knowledge, experience and advice to delivery of the Group objectives.
- Ensure effective deployment of resource and development of function capability to meet business priorities within an agreed budget
