The E.ON I&C Pillar combines the current npower Business Solutions & E.ON B2B businesses to create a new £5billion revenue business serving c60,000 business customers and around 300,000 business meter points with a view to becoming the number one B2B energy supplier in the UK.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Non-Domestic Compliance Lead to join our team. For this role you will lead on the delivery and maintenance of the Regulatory & Industry Code Compliance Framework for all Industrial and Commercial (I&C) related activities. You will have the ability to manage to tight deadlines in a fast paced, constantly changing environment. This role offers the hybrid working approach, where you will be working in the office (based in Leeds or Solihull) approximately 1 day per week.
Key responsibilities
- Delivering the necessary governance, change assurance, control and planning processes in collaboration with the I&C Compliance Manager, Head of I&C Regulation, Policy, Compliance and External Affairs and Accountable owner across the I&C business.
- Delivering and improving a comprehensive, risk-based compliance framework supported by an effective compliance monitoring and reporting programme that meets the requirements of ISO 9001.
- Challenging operational stakeholders at all management levels across I&C on performance against the framework - escalating risks in a timely manner to appropriate levels of management.
- Responsible for high quality, consistent governance & reporting across I&C.
- Lead on the tracking, communication, monitoring, and escalation of all Regulatory Compliance activity across I&C.
- Produce and coordinate external routine regulatory and industry reporting, external stakeholder requests for information (RFI’s), enquiries and externally instigated investigations.
- Facilitate external audits as required - with specific emphasis on ISO9001 accreditation for the regulatory compliance governance process.
What we need from you
- Experience in implementing policies or frameworks across cross functional teams.
- Comprehensive knowledge of regulatory and industry compliance requirements.
- Strong communication, influencing, stakeholder and relationship management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate highly complex technical issues to the required audience.
It would be great if you had
- Experience of the UK Energy Market and External Regulatory Frameworks.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 standards.
