Compliance Officer

RM Recruit are working with a fantastic Walsall based not-for-profit organisation who are seeking to hire an Full-Time Compliance Officer for their team on an onsite 2 month ongoing contract. This role will see you assist the Building Safety Manager with the effective running of compliance requirements.

Duties:

• Maintain high quality information regarding compliance with regulatory and legislative requirements.
• Assist with managing fire safety programmes and actions to achieve 100% compliancy.
• To assist with contract administration ensuring this has been carried out in a compliant and timely way with supplier performance reviews, reports and meetings clearly documented and recorded.
• Assist with auditing work of internal staff and external contractors/ suppliers involved in the delivery of compliance works.
• To assist in ensuring programmes of work are delivered on time and to the required standards, prior to certifying works for payment.
• To provide assistance and support maintaining cross functional links throughout the department, providing advice, and assisting with day-to-day work tasks.
• Review current standards to build a knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation and regulations in respect of compliance.
• Assist with processing invoices in timely manner and ensuring works are delivered on time and to the required standards, prior to certifying works for payment.
• Ensure full understanding of the responsibilities involved in the planning, management and delivery of planned Compliance works programmes.
• Assist BSM with the implementation of relevant policies.

Ideally you will possess experience working in a compliance, building safety ,fire safety environment. You will be a confident communicator who can develop relationships with a number stakeholders.

Salary: £13.00-£15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37 per week
