Our leading client in Financial Services are looking for a Compliance File Checker / Quality Assessor to join their team. The role would suit someone from a financial services or mortgage background looking to move into compliance. Their offices are a short drive from Newcastle City Centre, and offer hybrid working a few days per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and assess client files to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies.
- Conduct thorough examinations of financial documents, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Collaborate with internal teams to address any compliance-related issues and provide guidance on corrective actions.
- Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and implement changes as necessary.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of compliance processes and procedures.
Requirements:
- Level 4 Diploma qualified is perferred however those who are fully CeMAP qualified with determination to learn and progress within the compliance field will also be considered.
- Proven experience in compliance-related roles within the financial services sector.
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
