Role Details - Compliance Officer

We are currently looking for a diligent Compliance Officer to join the financial services division of a well-respected manufacturing institution based in Solihull. Key responsibilities of the Compliance Officer

In this role, the successful candidate will act as a Compliance Officer for the UK, Ireland, and Netherlands offices for the company's financial services division. Key responsibilities will include:

• Assessing risk and compliance vulnerabilities and implementing controls to mitigate these vulnerabilities
• Developing corrective action plans and guidance to identify future risk and compliance vulnerabilities
• Developing, delivering, and following up on risk and compliance training for the Northern European region on regulations, policies, procedures, and trends.

Key skills required of the Compliance Officer

• A background in compliance or risk management, preferably with experience assessing and implementing risk and compliance processes within a business. Candidates coming from auditing, banking, and legal backgrounds will also be considered.
• Sound knowledge of laws, regulations and policies relating to the financial services industry, anti-money laundering and data protection.
• Ability to prioritise tasks and time effectively
• Excellent communication skills, adept at communicating at all levels of the business
