Compliance Specialist

Are you an experienced Compliance Specialist looking for a new opportunity to start this month? I am looking for an experience Compliance professional for my client for a 6-month fixed contract due to a recent restructure and increase in workload. You will work within a team of 4, covering compliance across the group business function. This role will have full compliance involvement whilst working closely with the CFO and stakeholders from a financial and compliance viewpoint. Working closely with cross departments with an emphasis on reviewing, creating and updating new and existing business contracts from a compliance point of view.

Key duties include -

• Develop and implement compliance policies, procedures, and controls to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
• Conduct regular compliance risk assessments and gap analyses to identify areas of improvement and mitigate potential compliance risks.
• Provide guidance and support to business units on compliance-related matters, including regulatory requirements, licensing, and reporting obligations.
• Monitor regulatory developments and industry trends to assess their impact on the company's operations and pro-actively recommend appropriate actions.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including legal, risk management, and operations teams, to address compliance issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to compliance activities, including policies, procedures, reports, and correspondence with regulators.

Ideal experience -

• Regulatory compliance, experience with commercial contracts, FCA knowledge.
• Previous Compliance experience.
