An experienced Composite Laminator with at least 2 years of Pre-Preg Composite Laminating experience is needed to join the team at this leading Composite Manufacturing company based in Derby on a full-time basis.
Pentaxia is a contract manufacturer of advanced composite (typically carbon fibre) tooling and components. Founded in 2008 and family-owned, the business is on an exciting growth trajectory as we scale to become the UK's leading advanced composite provider.
As a Composite Laminator, you will be responsible for meticulously preparing and applying composite materials to create high-quality components. You will report directly to the Section Leader.

Key Responsibilities:
- Interpreting engineering drawings
- Operating specialised equipment
- Implementing precise lay-up techniques
- Collaborate closely with the production, quality and engineering teams to ensure that quality standards are met and production timelines are adhered to
Required Skills:
- Good hand skills and an eye for detail
- Competent in vacuum bagging of composite components
- Ability to understand technical drawings and specifications
- Disciplined in following company standard operating procedures and quality systems
- Self-motivated to meet quality and delivery targets
- Have a positive "Can do" attitude to everyday operations and continual improvement initiatives
- Attention to detail, a keen understanding of composite materials, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Required Experience:
- A minimum of 2 years experience in Pre-Preg Composite Laminating
- Pre-preg composite experience in motorsport, aerospace or similar industries would be an advantage
