Compressor Engineer
Are you a fully skilled Compressor Engineer looking for a new opportunity within a thriving company?
Compressor Engineer Role

• Installation & commissioning of industrial air compressors and equipment.


• Servicing of all types of air compressor (screw type, hydrovane & reciprocating) and ancillary equipment such as dryers and filtration etc.


• Attending on site breakdowns and carrying out repairs both mechanically and electrically.


• Workshop overhauls and refurbishment of industrial air compressors.

About you

• You must hold a relevant mechanical qualification to at least City & Guilds Level 3.


• Have at least 2 years' experience in a compressor installation or HGV, servicing or repair role.


• Experience of working with dryers would also be advantageous.


• You must hold a full UK driving licence and have entitlement to work in the UK.


• Be physically fit, with plenty of energy.


• Located within a commutable distance of Liversedge.


• Be willing to travel.


• Have a flexible approach to work which is sometimes outside normal working hours.


• Be confident with customers and be able to discuss problems at all levels.

Benefits of the Compressor Engineer role

• Salary for the Compressor Engineer: Earn up to £38,000.
  Based on £35k plus on call payment of £1800 pa (on call one weekend in five), plus overtime.


• Overtime : After 40 hours - time and half.
