An exciting opportunity has come up for 4 Concierge Officers, where you'll be required to cover the South London Patch (Battersea, Lewisham, and Thamesmead).
This position is primarily customer-focused; meet and greet all visitors to reception with a helpful attitude and good interpersonal skills. A background in working at a residential development or in other front-of-house roles is highly desirable.
We are looking for committed individuals with a positive attitude, good interpersonal skills, and a helpful attitude. You’ll be welcoming residents, responding to inquiries in person, by email, and over the phone, providing guidance to visitors, as well as engaging in other ad hoc activities.
The role requires basic IT skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows 10.
The shift pattern for this role is:
Monday to Friday, 07:00 to 15:00 or 13:30 to 21:30; weekends, 08:00 to 17:00.
Training and a uniform will be provided.
Experience
- Providing a residential concierge service or other similar front-of-house role.
- Experience in providing excellent customer service.
Skills and Abilities
- Able to prioritise their own workload and adopt a flexible approach to work.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Physical fitness and mobility are requirements, as heavy lifting is sometimes involved.
- Able to complete basic paperwork, e.g., incident logs.
- Able to work with little supervision, sometimes in pressurised situations.
- Ability to deal with people with tact and diplomacy with confidence, especially in difficult or challenging situations.
Must be prepared to work outside normal working hours on an occasional basis.
