Construction / Building Project Manager

My Government / Public Sector related Client is urgently recruiting for an experience Project Manager with Construction and Building experience working on construction projects from inception to completion.

The chosen Candidate will work with the team to deliver a full professional / technical service to the different internal teams / external teams regarding feasibility, contracts, new build works, building maintenance, improvements and general project management.
The role will lead / manage a committed /experienced team, playing a key role in providing a fantastic service, communication and inspirational leadership style is key and will really make a difference.

Responsibilities will include, providing technical advice on all construction issues, project management of processes and capital projects from appointment of contractors, through to starting on site, completion and then handover.
A focus on project managing property improvement schemes, high-lighting on risk, resources, relationships and ensuring projects are delivered on time and on budget.
In an ideal world the right Candidate will have a Degree in Building Surveying or equivalent in construction / the construction industry. Experience of project management including supervision of trade, management of contractors and consultants.

Knowledge of RIBA / Prince2 will be a huge benefit, as is the ability to use AutoCAD.
