Construction Director

Bennett and Game have the pleasure of exclusively representing a prestigious regional house developer based in the Stevenage area who are seeking a Construction Director to join their team. Having been established for almost a century, our client has a long standing and reputable name within the industry, so is a fantastic opportunity for a Construction Director to join a company with firm growth plans in the coming years. As a family run business our client is genuinely proud of their product, and are widely considered one of the premium house builders from both a specification and build quality perspective in the Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire counties.

The Construction Director who secures this position will be responsible for monitoring work on high end residential builds ensuring jobs are completed on time and within budget, to the standard expected for our client.

The most suitable candidate will come from a developer or contractor background and will be seeking the next step within their career.

• Overseeing the logistical requirements of a project
• Delegating work to senior colleagues and the team
• Setting targets, objectives and responsibilities for all supervised staff
• Regularly review timings, budget, labour, risk and project plans to ensure work stays on track
• Ensuring the delivery of high-quality work within contract timescales
• Reporting to the Managing Director

• Must have worked in the Housebuilding industry
• Based within commuting distance of the Stevenage area
• Seeking a long-term role that fits within the company culture
• Good tenure

• Salary: £80,000 to £100,000 DOE
