We are a civil engineering contractor with ambitious growth plans, looking for a Construction Manager / Sub-Agent to join our team and oversee our project in Barnet.
As a Construction Manager or sub-agent, you will be responsible for planning, managing and supervising the execution of the construction project, ensuring that it is completed on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards. You will also coordinate and direct the construction workers, subcontractors, materials and equipment, and liaise with the clients, consultants and stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
Oversee and direct the construction project from conception to completionReview the project scope, schedule, deliverables and costsEnsure compliance with building and safety regulations, contractual conditions and quality standardsCoordinate and direct the construction workers and subcontractorsSelect, order and track the inventory of tools, materials and equipmentPrepare and submit internal and external reports on the project statusPlan ahead to prevent and resolve any issues or risks that may ariseCommunicate and collaborate with the clients, consultants and stakeholders
Requirements
Proven working experience as a Construction Manager or in a similar roleRelevant qualification in construction management, civil engineering, or related fieldKnowledge of construction processes, methods, and best practicesFamiliarity with construction software and toolsAbility to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectivelyExcellent leadership, communication and problem-solving skillsCivils or groundworks experience is essentialRail background is desirable but not essentialHungry, ambitious and energetic individualPlease apply ASAP as we are actively looking to fill this position before the end of January
