Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Planner with Project Management experience to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the planning, coordination, and execution of various projects across the country. From setting up and maintaining programmes to attending client meetings and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, this role offers a diverse range of responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
1 Set up and maintain programmes: Develop and maintain comprehensive project programmes to ensure timely delivery and effective resource allocation.
1 Site Visits and Reporting: Visit project sites regularly to produce progress reports linked to programme updates. Attend client site meetings, produce meeting minutes, and prepare Management Information Reports (MIRS). Liaise with local authorities and statutory bodies for relevant applications (e.g., S278, S50, S106, UU Part 2).
1 Internal Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams to agree on labor and plant requirements. Address any shoring requirements and produce Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS). Handle drawing queries and demonstrate proficiency in extranet sites for drawings (e.g., 4P's).
1 Monthly CVR Meetings: Attend monthly CostValue Reconciliation (CVR) meetings to provide insights and updates on project progress and financial performance.
1 Travel Requirement: Be prepared to travel and stay away if required, up to one night per month, to attend site visits or meetings.
1 Knowledge of NEC and JCT Programme Requirements: Demonstrate clear knowledge and familiarity with NEC and JCT programme requirements to ensure project compliance and smooth execution.
1 NEC Role Responsibilities: Issue Early Warning Notices (EWN) and Compensation Events (CEs) as per NEC contract requirements. Attend NECrelated meetings and contribute to effective contract management.
