Construction Project Manager - Commercial Cat A+ Fit Out

Role Overview:
As a Project Manager, you will spearhead the management of specialist subcontractor packages within expansive commercial Cat A+ fit-out projects. Your pivotal responsibilities include financial oversight, ensuring compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards, and driving the achievement of company objectives.
Responsibilities:
Provide monthly project status reports to Directors.
Ensure successful project delivery, meeting client expectations.
Lead proposals and tenders, with backing from Directors and the team.
Conduct tender presentations and occasionally lead teams for project wins.
Manage pre-construction programming, evaluating design information, and developing detailed construction programs.
Establish project delivery strategy encompassing method, sequence, logistics, and program.
Review subcontractor tender clarifications, compiling comprehensive lists for submissions.
Produce Project Method Statement and monthly project reports as per contractual obligations.
Develop and issue project plans before on-site works commence.
Provide correct notifications to authorities (F10, Commencement Notice).
Oversee data tracking, including subcontractor compliance with environmental and sustainability requirements.
Take ownership of procurement and subcontractor appointment in collaboration with the project's QS and team.
Manage CDM requirements as Principal Contractor and the TTP company health and safety plan.
Supervise Construction Managers and project QS's.
Manage and monitor project control tools (RFI schedule, program, open items list, meeting minutes, reports).
Hands-on management of trade contractors, covering health and safety, progress, quality, changes, etc.
Draft and maintain records such as the schedule of conditions.
Manage site setup at the project start, including logistics, security, and welfare.
Ensure the site workbook is kept up to date.
Manage successful project closeout, including O&M manuals, training, certifications, and client/company-standard condition.
Contribute to post-construction activities like final accounts, snagging, defects management, and project closeout.
Requirements:
Essential construction knowledge in commercial cut & carve refurbishments and fit-out projects.
Proven experience as a Project Manager in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Project Management software.
