We are working with a reputable Local Authority in the Oxfordshire Region looking for a Construction Locum Lawyer to join their department for an initial 3-month period.
The successful candidate must be UK qualified and have upwards of 12 months’ experience in dealing with the following:
- Construction Law (non-contentious)
- NEC and JCT Contracts
- Good knowledge on Public Contract Regulations 2015
- Procurements matters via Framework Agreements
You will need to have experience of handling your own legal caseload. Previous construction law legal experience in a local authority is essential.
Pay rate is between £40-55 per hour.
This is a full – time position with the council operating in a flexible working environment.
The local authority is looking for a candidate to start as soon as possible. Due to the urgent nature of the role, we are looking to speak to candidates available on no more than 2 weeks’ notice.
