Estates/Construction Category Manager | Permanent | Hybrid Working | Excellent benefits package
Castlefield Recruitment are working in partnership with a highly reputable organisation based in West Yorkshire, who are looking to identify a talented Category Manager to join their team on a permanent basis, within the Estates/Construction category.
This organisation operates a hybrid working policy, with the ability to work from home 3 days per week. This is an excellent opportunity to join an organisation going through a high growth period, working in a collaborative and high performing procurement function.
Responsibilities:
- Reporting directly to the Head of Facilities Procurement, you'll be at the forefront of the Hard FM Category, managing and delivering complex, technical, and high-value procurements
- Developing and executing a category plan aligned with Directorate and wider organisation Procurement Strategies
- Supporting and guiding Category Officers in handling less complex, lower value procurements.
The person:
- Significant experience in the private or public sector
- Desire to understand NEC/JCT forms of contract
- Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to show your own initiative
- Professional qualification or substantial experience is preferred
