Job Description
A unique and exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and pro-active Consultant Anaesthetist to join the team at West Midlands, based in Halesowen. The successful candidate would be expected to work closely with the existing team to provide a comprehensive anaesthetic service. This will involve inpatient and day case acute surgery across two sites, West Midlands Hospital and close by our new Stourside day case hospital.

The position is for 40 hours a week, including time for CPD. Part time position would also be considered.

West Midlands Hospital is one of the West Midland's leading private hospitals set in 3.5 acres of pleasant grounds at Colman Hill, Halesowen, ten miles from Birmingham City Centre. Operating since 1988 the hospital has 30 private bedrooms, all with en-suite facilities. Stourside hospital is an extension of services being delivered by West Midlands Hospital in Halesowen. Location just 100 metres from the Lion Health surgery, Stourside is a single storey development of modern design with a focus on day case procedures.
The hospitals provide access to high quality, patient centred healthcare services for private, insured and NHS patients within the local community and further afield. Across both sites we have 3 operating theatres, two with laminar flow, a day case treatment room, physio, x-ray, mobile CT, MRI, out-patient consulting rooms and endoscopy.
