If yes, then The Voice Project’s vacancy for a Consultation and Engagement Assistant could be the perfect opportunity for you. 

As a Consultation and Engagement Assistant you will support the Consultation & Engagement Co-ordinators in the delivery of high-quality and well planned consultation & engagement activity designed to improve the outcomes of children, young people and families. The post holder will help to provide various opportunities of consultation to people of all abilities, backgrounds and ages.

Main Responsibility

The Consultation and Engagement Assistant’s role will support The Voice Project’s existing and newly planned consultation activities. The post holder will be expected to assist and support the Consultation Co-ordinators in the preparation and delivery of all Consultation and participation activities that take place across Staffordshire. Specifically, this will involve supporting the Co-Ordinators in the planning and execution of engagement events, facilitate small groups under the guidance of the Consultation and Engagement Co-ordinators, as well as supporting the analysis and sharing of results.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for an individual who is keen to make a positive difference for children and families. They will have the following skills and experience:

  • Motivated: you will need to be a motivated team player, who knows how to achieve goals by working with others in a committed and driven approach.
  • Approachable: you will need the ability to engage & build relationships with children, young people, parents, carers and professionals. 
  • Organisation: you will required to be highly organised with both your work areas and time management.  
  • Committed: you will need to be able to work effectively as part of the team to  improve outcomes for our children and families

This role will involve travelling across Staffordshire including rural areas.

The role includes regular evening work and occasional weekend working.
