Contract: Fixed Term (January 2025), Full-Time Oxford Brookes University is looking to recruit a Marketing Assistant to provide administrative support for our Marketing Operations and CRM teams. You will support the Marketing Operations team in a wide range of activities across the full marketing mix. From assisting with the development of content and marketing campaigns to promote our courses, to updating and maintaining our website, you will be required to work across a wide range of tasks. This will allow you to build and develop your marketing skills and experience in key areas for a career in this field. You will also be assisting our CRM team with the development of email marketing campaigns and the maintenance of our data. You’ll be joining a highly motivated and friendly team. We split our time flexibly between working from home and working in our open plan office and we enjoy regular all team ‘away’ days and socials. This is an exciting opportunity to work within the Strategic Marketing & Digital Team within our Marketing, Recruitment and Engagement directorate. Overall Purpose of the post of Marketing Assistant: To provide comprehensive marketing support for the Marketing Operations and Delivery team. You will support the team with a wide range of activities. From assisting with the development of advertisements and marketing campaigns to updating and maintaining our website, you will be required to work across a wide range of tasks. Qualifications and Experience for the post of Marketing Assistant: As a Marketing Assistant in the Marketing Operations team, you will have proven organisational and communication skills, with a high level of competency with IT especially Google Suite and MS Excel spreadsheets, and the ability to prioritise and manage competing demands. You will have experience using social media channels for marketing and will contribute to our social media content plans.
