PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
Delivery of CONSUMER MARKETING activity to drive revenue growth from visitors to events taking place at our venues, particularly exhibitions and new types of activity at the Group. This will be primarily focused on event marketing, digital and CONSUMER MARKETING to grow revenue, support customer retention initiatives and maximise visitor awareness of all three venues.
KEY RESPONSIBILITES:
Management, planning and execution of event marketing campaigns for defined customer segments across our Exhibition portfolio, ensuring activity is completed to a specific schedule
Identify opportunities to improve the performance of Exhibition event marketing programmes to showcase activity value, drive engagement, increase ancillary/ticket and optimise the customer journey
Planning and development of digital and marketing campaigns to drive traffic to venue websites, capture data and improve conversions
Support across PPC and paid advertising campaigns as necessary, ensuring work is within budget and delivers a ROI
Monthly analysis and measurement of marketing activities and digital performance, compiling reports on results and optimising areas for growth or improvement
Ensuring all marketing activation is aligned with wider plans regarding scale, objectives, audience, timings, and budget
Develop engaging content to showcase the activity that takes place in our venues and the services offered for use across print and digital channels including venue screens, websites and social platforms.
Provide marketing support and project management for projects, working closely with the Marketing Director and/or Senior Marketing Manager(s).
Work with the team Account Manager to help develop the briefs for internal and external teams.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
At least 3 years’ proven marketing experience
Previous experience of marketing in a fast moving, creative environment
Previous experience working across both B2B and B2C marketing would be ideal, but B2C is essential
Confidence and experience managing end to end marketing campaigns across all channels
Proven experience of executing campaign strategy across multiple projects
Copywriting skills with confidence in writing and developing compelling copy for web updates and campaigns
Ability to coordinate activities and manage multiple projects with effective time management
Knowledge and previous experience using Google Analytics
Excellent communication skills both verbally and written
Be enthusiastic and a ‘self-starter’, who can work autonomously if required
Excellent organisational, administrative and time management skills
Knowledge and or experience of the events industry would be advantageous
Team player; ability to build strong relationships and work closely with other members of a high performing team to deliver strong results.
